I have a mySQL database with 350 genomes. Instead of selecting genomes from a long list, I’d like a “tree-interface” in which I can zoom from genus to species to strain and then use this to select individuals from the database. Any ideas appreciated.
That is a great idea. It would be most useful if the user could select whole clades by clicking on a node in the tree at the root of the clade, and also shift-click or right-click or something to select or deselect clades or OTUs. I would want to be able to select more than one OTU or group and ask for the download of the sequences.
